r quite some time now, the WWE has dominated the pro wrestling industry without serious competition to its weekly television product and monthly pay per view offerings. Since 2000, we’ve all grown to either love or hate the WWE simply because it was the only thing in the business that was force fed to us on the regular. How many times have we looked at a particularly silly WWE angle and groaned in frustration, “Gee, where’s WCW when you need it?”

This is where TNA’s move benefits us all. Regardless of whether the product is sensible, logical, or enjoyable, their move to Monday nights gives fans the choice to choose which show they want to watch. This is a breath of fresh air for the business on the whole as it gives all fans an option.

And that’s what our capitalistic society is based off of, right? Competition in business is a good thing, and our economy thrives off of businesses resorting to all kinds of tactics in order to gain customers and achieve high levels of revenue.
